Hailing from Athens, Greece Mela is an upcoming DJ currently attending school at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Mela started DJing in Greece and continued his craft at Brown University DJing countless parties; including the infamous SexPowerGod party that Brown University has annually. Mela has also opened for The Glitch Mob and plays in clubs like Colosseum and Viva in downtown Providence. Currently Mela is focusing on DJing, but will be looking at production in the near future. He has been influenced by the musical works of Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Daft Punk and Deadmau5. Mela has provided YesGoodMusic with a unreleased mashup of his between “Calling” by Alesso and “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz. The track works rather nicely and the tone of the songs work well together.
