If you are familiar with ASAP Rocky and the whole ASAP crew, then you should be familiar with SpaceGhostPurrp. Rocky refers to him as his twin, and it’s easy to see their lineage musically. Both owe homage to the chop & screwed southern culture and sound, and both approach it with an east coast ferocity. However, while Rocky is a polished version of his influences, Purrp is a whole other beast. Acting as both producer and rapper, SGP’s music is a thick, syrup coated monster that will draw you into a disturbing, yet undeniably immersive world full of sex and drugs.
