3LAU released his highly anticipated new bootleg tape consisting of 12 mash-ups. You may recognize most of the mixes on this tape considering Justin dropped a good amount of them in the past and most of the vocals are from radio hits. While listening to this tape I didn’t get as hyped as I did when listened to 3LAU’s first Dance Floor Filth mixtape. All of the mash-ups sound good, but on a couple I feel as if I’d rather listen to the original track. That may just be because I have been listening to more EDM recently and my standards have risen. You can’t really tell that these mash-ups are created by Justin since they are pretty generic, but they are still well crafted mash-ups.
3LAU still was able to create a couple of gems on this project including “Action”, “Guilty Pleasure”, & “Petty Language”. “Petty Language” may just be the best “Call Me Maybe” mash-up as womplife said in their review. They nailed it so be sure to check out their review of Dance Floor Filth 2. Although I may not be to fond of Justin latest, I’m sure he has a lot to offer on the production side in the future. Listen to the tape below and give it a dl.
