“Now”  is the second single from Matt & Kim’s upcoming 3rd album, Lightning, which is set for an October 2nd release.  “Now” opens up with- in classic Matt & Kim fashion- loud, fast drums and a catchy as hell synth chord progression. The song then progresses into verses with classic youth rebellion-driven lyrics like “I know that things aren’t perfect, but let’s make tonight worth it”. Following that is the energetic and ready-for-arena chorus, which is just simply them yelling the word “Now”… yet it works so well. This is definitely my favorite Matt & Kim song, and honestly one of the best songs I’ve heard in a while. Check out the song below, and hear it way before Alt-Nation starts to overplay it.
