YesGoodMusic cares about the music we present to you, hence our self explanatory name. We can’t promise you that we have more artist affiliations or daily hits, but we can promise that we would never leak a fake song to get more traffic.  When I first saw ‘The Rule Has Changed’ posted on DML.fm, I was beyond excited from  the great write up on the track and just seeing Alesso and Avicii on the same track made me freak out.  I also saw that DML respectfully cited GMAD on the post, so right away, I was interested in the origins of the track.  Alesso and Avicii are two of my favorite upcoming DJs and I happen to listen to their music daily. After hearing the song I was a little confused considering how ‘The Rule Has Changed’ didn’t sound like the usual progressive Avicii mix.  The synths weren’t similar in anyway and the track wasn’t written like either an Alesso or Avicii song.  After doing some further research on this track on the web, all I could find out about this song that it was posted on the legendary website and highly respected music blog, GoodMusicAllDay.com. That must mean that its legit right? NO.  After contacting our editor Jason, he immediately realized that he has this mix in his iTunes from way earlier this month.  The real mix was entitled ‘Magic Is Timeless’ by Archie.V and Jason had spotted it on Turntable.fm.  I realize this long post was not necessary, but I just wanted to show our followers that we care.

As for the song, it’s a pretty solid mix. Please show some respect for the REAL creator of the song by listening to it on his YouTube channel (the video is provided below). Once again, I’d like to enforce that we are always here to provide an outlet for good music for all of you guys, but we would never ruin our integrity in order to achieve a few more views.  Hit the jump to listen/dl the actual track and check the artwork.

UPDATE:  The track formally known as ‘Magic Is Timeless’ has now been retitled ‘2012’ and features Fareoh & Archie V.  The full mix sounds amazing and is a must download.  Enjoy!  Also sounds like gmad got a little mad with our post…it’s all love over here at ygm hah.  They seemed to add a source out of the blue, but its all good HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
