Fall Out Boy – Thanks For The Memories (Kasum Remix)
by Raffi Khatchadourian •
Kasum has been on a hot streak in the last few months. Don’t get me wrong, ever since the up-and-coming producer/DJ unleashed his melodic dubstep remix of Smash Mouth’s “All Star” back in July, he’s been a name to watch out for in the electronic scene. But once the sophomore at BU won the spot to open for 3LAU & Carnage through his “Night Riot” mix, Kasum has been watching his dreams come true slowly but surely. Though early to say, I truly believe Kasum has quite the future ahead of him. Every remix he has dropped in the last year has been nothing short of greatness. His dubstep take on these classic throwback tunes both revive the popular tracks and add totally new layers to them. Hit the jump to read on and view footage from Kasum’s set at the House of Blues in Boston.
