Rock supergroup, Atoms For Peace, dropped a unexpected single the other day entitled “Default.” The band is made up of Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich from Radiohead, Flea from RHCP, and percussion artists: Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco. They originally started by touring and performing tracks off Yorke’s solo album. The electronic infused rock tracks sounded lively in arenas across US and their touring success ultimately resulted in some studio time. In a note on Radiohead’s website, Thom Yorke announced that Atoms For Peace will release an album next year (via). You can stream “Default” below and purchase it on iTunes.
