Now that it has been around a week since the release of fun’s sophomore album, Some Nights, we have heard mixed reviews on the album.  By now everyone knows Fun’s viral single “We Are Young” featuring one of my favorite pop singers, Janelle Monae.  Some Nights may have a lot of autotune, but all I have to say about the album is that it is fun.  The indie pop band may not have stuck to their roots on this one, but quite honestly, most listeners of Some Nights were not lucky enough to hear Fun’s debut, Aim and Ignite.  A majority were probably reeled in by “We Are Young” and there is nothing wrong with that.  After that Super Bowl commercial, the #1 iTunes song spot has been on lock.  I can’t speak much for the album since I just bought it the other day and my mac is at the apple store since my screen cracked, but I can say you should give it a chance and stream the full album below.  If you like what you hear be sure to buy Some Nights on iTunes here and more importantly check out their debut album Aim and Ignite here.
