As you all know superstorm Sandy left the east coast devastated and in a state of disarray . Many people have been displaced and left homeless as a result of this disaster. Luckily, when tragedy strikes society comes together to help those in need. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, The Madison Square Garden Company and The Weinstein Company have put together a charity event called 12/12/12 – The Concert for Sandy Relief. Not only are they using the healing power of music to bring some of the greatest names in the music industry together, but all money is going to be donated to various charities associated with Sandy relief. You might be asking what this means for you, well my friends you are going to see some of the greatest names in music and help out those in need, a win-won if you ask me. Some of the artists announced so far are Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band, Roger Waters, Kanye West and The Who. Hopefully you can all attend this event to see the best musicians in all different genres and do it for a good cause!
